Absolutely, the IB did prepare me for university! Many university courses are far more well-rounded than may otherwise appear to prospective applicants (eg economics courses often have compulsory mathematics modules, medicine courses may have ethics modules) and your background in other subjects will lend well to helping you with these βminorβ courses, whereas your peers may have to spend copious amounts of time learning this very new material.
