Other than the skills and knowledge I gained from the courses, learning how to conduct research investigations for my IAs and the EE and subsequently the skill of writing a research paper stand out to me as skills I gained. Assessments such as the TOK Presentation, the IOP in English A Lit as well as other oral-based assessments in other courses allowed me to develop and improve on my public-speaking. Additionally, I was able to foster critical thinking as a skill through the program, whether that be through the course of TOK or analysis and discussion in courses like History HL, or even in my IAs and EE.
